Hiden develops all materials, parts and manufacturing processes in Japan. The steel used for high-end hairdresser scissors is forged with the same process as that used to create Japanese swords. Hiden is developed by Kikuboshi, a well-established manufacturer of beauty products, founded in Tokyo in 1924. Our founders started the business with barber scissors, then we have developed many professional products for barbershop and beauty salons in Japan.
